Interview with my bridal couple Diana and Lars

Interview with my bridal couple Diana and Lars

Diana and Lars from Berlin opted for a one-day photo tour. They got married on March 20, 2023 on La Digue and had me accompany them from the wedding ceremony in the morning until sunset. The extensive lunch break was used to relax and drink water, as the March sun had already given us everything in the morning to show us who was boss in the ring… 😉

01.
Why did you get married in the Seychelles and not in Germany?
  1. Their shared dream was a wedding on the beach.
  2. Registry offices in Berlin are very authorities like 🙁 and not very romantic
  3. Families and friends come from Lithuania, USA and Germany – budget – arrangements – which is why we decided to get married as a couple, because it was OUR day.
02.
Where to put the wedding dress during the flight? And which airline did you fly with?
  • Garment bag
  • Called Qatar Airways in advance, dress was hung in a wardrobe on board
03.
How did you like your wedding? How was the wedding ceremony and what did you do after the ceremony? In short: What was your wedding day like?
  • Dreamlike
  • Super round trip for photos with Torsten :)))
04.
Was it complicated to get married in the Seychelles? Which documents were required? Was there a "paper war"?
  • No, it was very simple
  • DE or Berlin was very exhausting for us (Lithuania, DE)
05.
Did everything work as you had imagined?
  • Photographer :)))
  • Hotel La Digue, SUPER!!!!
  • Hotel Mahe, okay, in general Mahe was not as nice as La Digue

The dance on the beach and the big rock (adventure) at sunset.

10.
Which hotel on La Digue did you book? Would you recommend it to other travelers?
  • Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie Resort & Spa – In any case

  • Praslin, LaDigue, Mahe
  • LaDigue was the most beautiful

  • Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie Resort & Spa (very nice, we had a villa)
  • Mango House Mahe was nice but very small mini beach, nothing nearby, would not book again.
13.
Will you visit the Seychelles again? If so, what would you do differently from the previous trip? And what would you do again if necessary?

Yes, nothing, visit La Digue and Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie and other islands again (waterfall?). Vlt. for the anniversary in 5 or 10 years!

14.
Why should couples who want to get married in the Seychelles use my services?

Because you are the best photographer, you know all the top spots, you go full throttle, you give great advice and you have created really fantastic pictures.

15.
What advice would you like to give to couples who would like to get married in the Seychelles in the near or distant future? Do you have any recommendations that you would like to get rid of?
  • Don’t forget to apply cream to your face and neck
  • be sure to pack a 2nd shirt + shirt (luckily I had one), otherwise it gets very “sweaty”
