"Marriage in the Seychelles"-News # 023: What could be better than getting married in the Seychelles?

"What could be nicer than getting married in the Seychelles?" This is the title of a recent article published by BILD.DE. Have they looked at my website before? 😉

You can find the article here:

The honeymoon as the crowning glory of the wedding ceremony is a custom that has become an indispensable part of today's world, with a clear trend towards exotic destinations such as the Caribbean or the Indian Ocean.

There is also a tendency to postpone marriage until the honeymoon. The Seychelles are particularly popular with German couples who want to get married. The idea of saying yes in front of a paradisiacal backdrop of beach and palm trees is much more tempting for many couples than the local village church.

Many tour operators have special offers for people who are planning to get married in Seychelles: from hotels with special honeymoon suites, to the complete organisation of the wedding formalities, all the needs of the couple can be catered for, allowing them to concentrate on their partner and enjoy their honeymoon together without the hassle of red tape, as there are many ways to pamper yourself in Seychelles.

Paradisiacal beaches, a unique flora and fauna (Seychelles has the largest number of nature reserves in the world in terms of its surface area), a selection of the best international and local cuisine and exciting water sports are just a few of the reasons to leave the hotel's luxurious bridal suite, and you won't regret it!

However, before getting married in the Seychelles, it is important to note that even if you hire a wedding planner to organise the wedding, he or she will of course need to be provided with the relevant documents in good time: birth certificate and certificate of no impediment to marriage, possibly a divorce certificate, must be presented and these must also be translated into English or French.

They should also note that if they wish to get married in Seychelles, they must have stayed in the place where the wedding will take place for at least 11 days, but for a fee the time can be reduced to 3 days, after which nothing can stand in the way of an unforgettable wedding in Seychelles.
