Passengers flying to Seychelles on Ethiopian Airlines will no longer be required to present proof of yellow fever vaccination on arrival at Mahé airport. The Seychelles Public Health Department has announced that the new rules will apply to all travellers whose stay at Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa is less than 12 hours, but for flights departing from Frankfurt, the time window between arrival in Addis Ababa and the start of the connecting flight to Mahé is only four hours.
At the same time, the number of connections from Frankfurt to the Seychelles is increasing. As Ethiopian Airlines has been operating daily flights from Frankfurt to Addis Ababa since June, passengers of the airline now have direct connections to all of the four weekly flights to Mahé. The flights from Frankfurt via Addis Ababa to Mahé are on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
