“Splash the Dress” wedding photos on La Digue

Three guesses as to whether we took this photo before or after the ceremony… 😉 Of course, this question was not meant seriously. Of course, you take a photo like this at the very end on the last day of photography. I always have a lot of fun photographing the particularly brave and adventurous wedding couples there at Anse Patates on La Digue. There are also great other spots in the Seychelles where you can do a shoot like this – but this spot is somehow “magic”! I love taking photos there!

But isn’t the wedding dress ruined afterwards? No, it is not. It is of course soaking wet, but dries completely within a few hours in the typical Seychelles climate and can be easily transported back home in the suitcase at the end of the trip.

Depending on the time of year and the current state of the tide, it may not be easy for the couple to reach this spot at all. But a picture result like this definitely justifies the effort! I’ve got a lot to say, because I stay dry in my cover behind the rock during these photo series… 😉
