Wedding in the Seychelles: The wedding photo of the week!

The current "Wedding in the Seychelles"-Picture of the week shows Sarah and Christoph at the beautiful Anse Source d'Argent on La DigueThe two marriage-mad people from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania had their beautiful Wedding at Grand Anse celebrates. Wedding at Grand Anse is quite unusual, because 9 out of 10 bridal couples who get married on La Digue, will decide in 2014 for a Wedding at the Anse Source d'Argent.

But Sarah and Christoph wanted to marry "somehow different" and asked me which beach I, as a "la-digue-in-and-consciousness" would recommend to them as the beach for their wedding, besides the Anse Source d'Argent. And this was clearly the Grand Anse for me. For me it is the perfect symbiosis of beautiful scenery and good accessibility!

A Wedding at Anse Cocos or even more so a Wedding on the Anse Marron would probably be even better in terms of the loneliness and unspoiled nature of the beach - but the organisational effort for a Wedding at Anse Cocos or a Wedding on the Anse Marron the budget of many couples who get married in the Seychelles probably blow it up.

But back to Sarah and Christoph and their Wedding at Grand Anse:

How this rather unusual wedding was organized: I had given the bridal couple direct contact with what I consider to be the most capable and experienced wedding planner long before they even started their journey. Wedding planner at La Digue so that Sarah and Christoph are already prepared in advance the ideal contact person and were able to clarify even the smallest detail (exact location of the ceremony, exact time, decoration, musicians, champagne, wedding cake etc.) directly by e-mail and telephone without having to go out of your way.

And so, after more than a dozen really beautiful Weddings at the Anse Source d'Argent sometimes a Wedding at Grand Anse And this wedding was fantastic! [Edit April 2019: Meanwhile I hardly ever photograph weddings at the Anse Source d'Argent. but I love to shoot at other beaches!]

Since the bridal couple asked me not to publish any pictures of the wedding ceremony, today you will "only" see a picture of the two of them at the Anse Source d'Argent, which was taken the day after the ceremony.
