Now the BILD is also reporting it - and they know about "The Sun". Who knows, maybe we will even meet the royal highnesses somewhere, because in seven days we will be back in the Seychelles... 😀
A villa with a four-poster bed and marble bathtub, a terrace with a view of the turquoise blue sea of the Indian Ocean, where you can relax and unwind...
Prince William (28) and his newly wed wife Kate (29) are spending their honeymoon in the Seychelles, according to British newspapers.
The tropical islands are THE place for lovers: no neighbours, cars, mobile phones, just sun, sea and lots of love.
The couple landed with a private jet at the airport of the chain of islands in the Indian Ocean yesterday, several newspapers reported, citing the Ministry of Tourism and the Seychelles Tourist Board. From there they travelled to a remote island, the Daily Telegraph and the Times believe to know. There was no official confirmation of the reports at first. Prince William's office had previously only announced that the couple had left for their honeymoon - without naming the holiday destination.
According to "The Sun", the couple will spend ten days on one of the 115 Seychelles islands relaxing under palm trees, bathing and pampering each other, and "The Sun" also wants to know the price of William and Kate's alleged luxury villa: 4000 pounds (around 6500 euros) - per night.
At the North Island Resort - in 2003, the island North Island was expanded into a private holiday club with eleven guest houses - William and Kate are said to have booked themselves in for their honeymoon, writes the newspaper "The Guardian". Here, the talk is of a honeymoon price of 3220 pounds (about 5300 euros) per night. However, all eleven luxury villas of the resort can also be rented - for 43,000 pounds (about 70,900 euros). The facilities of one of these villas include a circular swimming pool and a cinema lounge.
"William wants Kate to relax and it's just about him and her. This is the perfect place for the two of them," an unnamed source is said to have told the "Mirror", and: William and Kate are said to have already swung onto two rickety bicycles to explore the island.
Residents of the Seychelles have been enthusiastic about reports of Prince William and his wife Kate's honeymoon in their country. A local newspaper reported on Wednesday that the islanders were delighted with the news of the royal visit. "I am very happy that they are here on holiday and having fun," said retired police officer Rene Vidod in a pub in the capital Victoria, "Everyone is happy."
The couple ask for respect for their privacy during the trip, stressed Clarence House, the residence of the prince and queen in London, where William and Kate had already spent a holiday together in 2007...
