You already know Kirstin & Cornelius if you regularly follow the “Photo of the week” column. The couple flew in with 16 guests in October 2012 to celebrate their wedding in the Seychelles. After we had photographed extensively on the main island of Mahé, we flew to La Digue together for 1.5 days to use the most beautiful beaches in the world as an ideal photo backdrop.
This photo was taken a few moments after sunrise at Petite Anse. As always, we were the first and only people on the beach to experience this phenomenally beautiful moment. It is these very special moments that create particularly atmospheric photos. And I fly to the Seychelles again and again for moments like these.
There is no better place to get married! And there is no better place to take photos! And if you can combine the two, the result is an enormously unusual wedding photo. And when I look through the viewfinder of my camera on the beach and then again later when I look at the pictures on my monitor at home, I realize that I have the best job in the world as a wedding photographer in the Seychelles! 😀
