“Wedding in the Seychelles” – NEWS # 001: Even more comfortable to the Seychelles

Attention honeymooners: Now it’s even easier to travel to the Seychelles!

Air Seychelles’ Pearl Class (Business Class) now has a new look: the Creole airline has had the seats of its two Boeing B767-300ERs redesigned. Passengers on the Paris-Mahé route can already enjoy the luxurious comfort of the new class. From December 2010, the national airline of the Seychelles will be operating the new Pearl Class on flights from Paris, Rome and Milan to the Seychelles.

The new, elegant design of Business Class promises passengers on long-haul flights more comfort in future. By reducing Economy Class by one row (ten seats), Pearl Class with its new seating arrangement benefits from a generous 172 centimetres of seat pitch. The seats can be folded back 180 degrees and converted into a bed. Another new feature is the in-flight entertainment system with a handy, mobile monitor. The redesign of Pearl Class is an important step for Air Seychelles. The airline is currently the only one to offer the comfortable lie-flat seats on non-stop flights from Europe to the Seychelles.

Passengers from Germany can fly to the Seychelles either via Paris, Rome or Milan. For the connecting flight via Paris, passengers can use Air France’s feeder services from Berlin (Tegel), Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Munich and Stuttgart. From Paris, Air Seychelles brings travelers to Mahé five days a week (except Tuesday and Thursday). Passengers wishing to use the route via Italy can make use of Alitalia’s feeder services from Germany. Air Seychelles flies to the island paradise every Friday and Saturday via Rome and every Saturday via Milan.
