Wedding in the Seychelles – the photo of the week!

Hochzeit Seychellen La Digue

You already know Sabine and Sören from my blog post last week, so you know how our first of three photo days went – the day they got married at Grand Anse on La Digue!

The following day, we had a fantastic day of photography together on “Grande Soeur”, better known to many as “Big Sister Island”, where we took some fantastic photos. The beach on Big Sister Island never fails to blow me away! The giant tortoises roaming freely on the island are always a highlight – and the beach barbecue included in the excursion is second to none anyway. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! 🤤

On the third and last day of photography together, Sabine and Sören proved to be particularly fit by being the very first wedding couple to walk the “Muscat Trail” on La Digue together with me in order to get to particularly remote photo spots. You can hardly be further away from the tourist trails on La Digue. Well over 90% of the locals are said to have never set foot on this trail. I, on the other hand, find it so fascinating that I hiked it four times within ten days.

I’ll show you one of the photos we took at the top of the cliffs with a wonderful view across to Frégate Island Private at the next opportunity. But first, here’s a picture we took about 60 minutes later down at the spectacular Petite Anse. I love this location! ♥
