“Getting married in the Seychelles”-News # 023: What could be better than getting married in the Seychelles?

“What could be better than getting married in the Seychelles?” This is the title of a recent article published by BILD.DE. I wonder if they looked at my website beforehand? 😉

You can find the article here:

The honeymoon as the crowning glory of the wedding ceremony is a custom that has become indispensable nowadays. The trend is clearly moving towards exotic destinations such as the Caribbean or the Indian Ocean.

There is also a tendency to move the wedding to the honeymoon. The Seychelles are particularly popular with Germans looking to get married. For many couples, the idea of saying “I do” in front of a paradisiacal backdrop of beach and palm trees is a much greater temptation than the local village church.

Many tour operators offer special deals for people intending to get married in the Seychelles: From hotels with special honeymoon suites, to the complete organization of wedding formalities, all the couples’ needs can be taken care of. This allows them to concentrate fully on their partner and enjoy their honeymoon together without having to deal with a lot of red tape. There are numerous opportunities to be pampered in the Seychelles.

Paradise beaches, unique flora and fauna (the Seychelles has the largest proportion of nature reserves in the world in terms of land area), a selection of the best international and local cuisine and exciting water sports are just a few good reasons to leave the hotel’s luxurious honeymoon suite. You certainly won’t regret it!

However, before getting married in the Seychelles, you should note that even if you hire a wedding planner to organize the wedding ceremony, they must of course be provided with the relevant documents in good time: Birth certificate and certificate of no impediment to marriage, divorce certificate if applicable must be provided. These must also be translated into English or French.

You should also note that if you want to get married in the Seychelles, you must have stayed in the place where the wedding is to take place for at least 11 days. However, the time can be reduced to 3 days for a fee. Then nothing can stand in the way of an unforgettable wedding in the Seychelles.
