Silversea Cruises is very satisfied with the feedback from guests about the cooking school on its luxury cruise ships. Silversea worked closely with the Relais & Châteaux hotel and restaurant association to develop the offer. The informative and entertaining cooking courses are individually tailored to the respective crusade. In this way, the regional characteristics of the travel destinations are taken into account. The program includes cooking competitions between David Bilsland (head chef of Silversea Cruises) and the kitchen crew of the respective Silversea ship, as well as professional recipes to cook as well as “From Market to Plate” activities with a shopping tour at a local market and subsequent preparation of the dishes. There are also the Culinary Outing country outings. Here, passengers can get to know local specialties.
