Carmen and Dennis: Seychelles dream wedding at Grand Anse! 😀

A wedding in the Seychelles needs to be well prepared. I really don’t know how many emails and WhatsApp messages I exchanged with Carmen in the run-up to the event – but believe me, there were a lot! 😉

Almost every travel agency would have had to pass when answering the questions. However, as I have become a real expert on the subject of getting married in the Seychelles over the years, I was able to provide them with advice and support.

On March 1, 2016, the time had come: Carmen and Dennis got married on La Digue! And since they followed my recommendation, they got married at Grand Anse. I was particularly happy about this – because if you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know that Grand Anse is the most beautiful beach in the Seychelles for me (see Most beautiful beach in the Seychelles).

One day before the wedding, the weather gods clearly showed that the sun doesn’t always shine in the Seychelles. Carmen was desperate and, in her panic, wanted to postpone the wedding by several days. In the end, however, they listened to my advice as the “weather god” and got married as planned on March 1st. And what can I say:

The weather couldn’t have been better! The sky was bright blue, there were a few white clouds in the sky and not a drop of rain for miles around. Well, the weather changes that quickly in the Seychelles… 😀

The wedding decorations were adapted exactly to Carmen and Dennis’ wishes in advance, as I had put them in direct contact with the wedding organizer so that they could coordinate everything directly with the service provider by email long beforehand. And as always, everything was perfect! To quote Carmen’s first words after the wedding ceremony: “It’s all like the most beautiful dream”! 😀

We then used the entire wedding day and the following day to take fantastic photos on various beaches and also in the “jungle”. More photos of the two will follow gradually over the next few days and weeks.
