The Seychelles’ international airport has been open to “everyone” again since 01.08.2020 and the first tourists are currently spending their vacation in the Seychelles. But there are really only a few isolated tourists, because the “corona shock” runs deep. Many people don’t dare to travel far at the moment. The Seychelles are currently one of the safest countries in the world, as coronavirus is practically non-existent there. The beaches are currently as deserted as they were in the seventies. An absolute dream! If you’ve always wanted to know what paradise feels like, then travel now!
You currently have “free choice” when it comes to choosing your accommodation. Everyone is eagerly awaiting the return of the tourists to the country with the most beautiful beaches in the world. But hardly anyone comes yet. The planes are pleasantly empty, as are the ferries, hotels and beaches – but few people still dare to travel to the Seychelles. Yet the islands are an absolute paradise on earth right now!
Since the opening of the airport on 01.08.2020, not a single wedding has taken place on La Digue to date (31.08.2020)! Tomorrow is the first wedding in over five months in the calendar of “my” local wedding organizer.
