I have my own personal favorite beach on every island in the Seychelles. On Praslin, the second largest island in the Seychelles, I was particularly taken with the dream beach of Anse Georgette. This is located directly in front of the extensive grounds of the Constance Lemuria Resortprobably the best hotel on the island.
I have already had the pleasure of staying at this hotel twice. The fantastic food and the magnificent location directly on the three dream beaches of Anse Georgette, Anse Kerlan and Petite Anse Kerlan make this hotel a very special highlight among the luxurious resorts.
There are three ways to reach Anse Georgette:
Option no. 1 is probably the most comfortable: book a room at the Constance Lemuria Resort and walk to the beach or, alternatively, let one of the electric karts take you almost to the beach.
Option no. 2 would be the “wet variant”: Approach by boat, anchor and swim the last few meters to the beach. Don’t forget your swimming trunks! 😉
Option no. 3 is certainly the most strenuous, but also the most beautiful: start at Anse Lazio and take the beautiful hiking trail to Anse Georgette. The path is not easy to find and is quite sweaty in several places – but the beautiful tour is definitely worth the effort!
