Greetings from the Seychelles! As soon as I got back to Germany, it was already 17 days after my return from the dream islands on October 23rd. I’m off again, because the next wedding on La Digue is coming up, for which I’m booked as photographer. As Sabrina and Tom are accompanying me this time 😀 , we have combined this trip directly with our annual vacation and are making the Seychelles unsafe for almost three weeks. The first flight together with our son! 😀 The very first beach Tom was allowed to swim at in his life was the phenomenally beautiful Anse Intendance in the southwest of Mahé – at the tender age of just ten months. A toddler could certainly be worse off… 😉
Only now do I realize how many tourists travel to the Seychelles with very young children. Tom – who, as expected, is just as uncomplicated here as he is at home and, as always, doesn’t wake up until half past eight in the morning – is by no means the youngest baby here; some are less than six months old.
Tomorrow I’m off to La Digue, the most beautiful island in the world for my taste (and anyone who knows me better knows that I’ve traveled to a hell of a lot of islands in all the world’s oceans). I’m really looking forward to my time there – and of course especially to Sandra & Thomas’ wedding, which I’ll be photographing for three days. Finally, I’ll show you a photo that is now three weeks old – and there are also a few explanatory lines:
Kirstin and Cornelius, whose wedding in the Seychelles I attended from 04. until October 6, 2012, got married on the main island of Mahé and then came over to La Digue with me to take a few wedding photos on the beach there as well. This picture shows the two of them at Petite Anse on La Digue – for me one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Apart from us, there wasn’t a soul around and we had the beach all to ourselves. I’m really looking forward to being out and about with my camera there again tomorrow! 😀
