Anse Marron is the most remote bay on La Digue. It can only be reached on foot on an approximately one-hour hike, which leads partly through the sea and partly through the jungle. A local guide is therefore highly recommended. When I wanted to hike to Anse Marron for the first time, I spent a long time trying to find a guide who could show me the way. Nowadays this is quite easy, as several guides offer the hike to Anse Marron or the complete southern circumnavigation of the island.
