Simone and Andreas from the Upper Palatinate got married on La Digue in November 2018 and had me photograph them on two days. As always, “my” wedding organizer arranged the wedding at Grand Anse and, as always, made sure everything went perfectly.
In typical November fashion, the weather was once again perfect and the light was right on our side. This is one of the many photos we took on the first day of photography on La Digue. After 30 trips to the Seychelles in all seasons, I know exactly when to find the perfect light and tidal conditions on which beach to take pictures for eternity!
Simone and Andreas are standing here on a sandbank, which only appears at certain times of the year and, of course, only at low tide. Take a look at the water colors that start behind the sandbank. Isn’t that totally crazy? And when a catamaran glides so photogenically into the picture, it really makes my photographer’s heart beat faster! ♥
